Background:
St Anne's Park Primary School, which opened in July 1929, is maintained by the City of Bristol education authority. It is a mixed day school, with a nursery class attached catering for children aged three to 11 years. The school building is light and spacious, comprising six classrooms, computer suite, art room, assembly hall, PE and dining hall, music and library. A number of extra-curricular activities are provided where children can learn new skills and develop new talents. At present a variety of lunchtime and after-school activities are available. These include football, netball, tag rugby, gymnastics, art, ICT, choir and board games. The school provides a safe and happy atmosphere were everyone is valued.
