Background:
Westbury-on-Trym Primary School is purpose-built and caters for the children aged between four and 11. It comprises 10 teaching classes constructed around a central courtyard; large fully equipped hall, resources room, kitchen, dinning hall and administrative block. A nature area including a pond, butterfly garden and a scent garden have been developed, and the school is adjacent to an attractive wooden area. The school offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities including netball, football, rounders, young ornithologist's club, French, recorders, choir, orchestra, badminton, chess, gala swimming and a rainbow group. The school aims to create and use a stimulating environment in which each child feels secure and is able to develop fully both academically and socially.
